Es por este motivo que cada a\u00f1o se celebra el 22 de febrero el \u201c<strong>D\u00eda Europeo de la Igualdad Salarial<\/strong>\u201d. El objetivo perseguido con su celebraci\u00f3n es concienciar a la sociedad espa\u00f1ola sobre la existencia de una clara desigualdad en la retribuci\u00f3n que perciben las mujeres y los hombres por la realizaci\u00f3n del mismo trabajo o de un trabajo de igual valor, as\u00ed como sobre la necesidad de combatir dicha brecha.<\/p>\n<p>Nos equivocar\u00edamos si pens\u00e1ramos que esta brecha afecta \u00fanicamente a las mujeres que trabajan en el sector privado, a pesar de que se trata de un derecho reconocido en el propio articulado de la norma b\u00e1sica de la legislaci\u00f3n laboral espa\u00f1ola, es decir, en el Estatuto de los Trabajadores y, concretamente, en su art\u00edculo 28 titulado: \u201cIgualdad de remuneraci\u00f3n por raz\u00f3n de sexo\u201d. De hecho, centr\u00e1ndonos en nuestro contexto, recientemente se public\u00f3 el informe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crue.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/INFORME_BRECHA_SALARIAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Brecha salarial de g\u00e9nero en las universidades p\u00fablicas espa\u00f1olas<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>elaborado por el Ministerio de Universidades, ANECA y CRUE Igualdad, que desvela un 10,9% de brecha salarial entre hombres y mujeres en el PDI del sistema universitario p\u00fablico, que asciende hasta un 16,9% si hablamos de complementos salariales. Adem\u00e1s las mujeres PDI no solo perciben una menor retribuci\u00f3n sino que se enfrentan a fen\u00f3menos como los \u201csuelos pegajosos\u201d o el conocido \u201ctecho de cristal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco de este d\u00eda la Unidad de Igualdad de la URJC organiza la jornada <a href=\"https:\/\/eventos.urjc.es\/94582\/detail\/la-brecha-salarial-se-escribe-en-femenino.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u201cLa brecha salarial se escribe en femenino\u201d<\/strong><\/a> con las siguientes ponentes, docentes de la URJC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gestion2.urjc.es\/pdi\/ver\/begona.garcia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mar\u00eda Bego\u00f1a Garc\u00eda Gil<\/strong> <\/a>&#8211; \u201cLa brecha salarial en el acceso al empleo y en la ocupaci\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gestion2.urjc.es\/pdi\/ver\/rosa.santero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Rosa Santero S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> <\/a>&#8211; \u00abDiversidad de g\u00e9nero en la direcci\u00f3n empresarial y brecha salarial\u00bb.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gestion2.urjc.es\/pdi\/ver\/mariapilar.charro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pilar Charro Baena<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; \u201cBrecha salarial y conciliaci\u00f3n de la vida familiar y laboral: un binomio complejo\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sara Gallardo Guijarro<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Consejo de Ministros aprob\u00f3 en 2021 una declaraci\u00f3n institucional en la que el Gobierno de Espa\u00f1a manifiesta su compromiso con la erradicaci\u00f3n de la brecha retributiva entre mujeres y hombres que seg\u00fan el INE, en c\u00f3mputo anual, supera el 20%.
