On June 14, National Spanish Sign Languages Day is celebrated under the slogan "Sign Languages, Languages of Law"!
In 2014, the Government agreed to declare June 14 as the National Day of Spanish Sign Languages. A date dedicated to sharing these languages, promoting their dissemination, and normalizing their use.
We present the program released by the Federation of Deaf People of the Community of Madrid (FeSorCam) to commemorate this day.
PROGRAM
10:00 a.m. – Opening of the "Sign Language" event at the FeSorCam stand.
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Sticker distribution and teaching a sign language sign to the public.
11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Sign language activity marathon (songs, poetry, storytelling…)
Joined throughout the day by SAMUR – Civil Protection, who will demonstrate CPR procedures.
2:30 p.m. – Closing of the National Spanish Sign Language Day
