Fundación Occident is opening the third call for applications for the Jesús Serra Undergraduate Scholarships, in which places are reserved for students with disabilities, so we believe this may be of interest to you. Here is a summary of the key information about the program to help us share it widely:
- 14 scholarships are awarded to students enrolling for the first time in an undergraduate university degree in the 2026-2027 academic year. Of these, 2 are reserved for students with an officially recognized disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- There are two access pathways:
- Pathway 1: First-generation university students, for students who will be the first in their families to pursue university studies.
- Pathway 2: First generation of women in STEM, for female students who will be the first in their families to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- A specific place is reserved —two scholarships in total— for students with an officially recognized disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- The scholarships include a financial grant for training and educational materials, as well as an additional allowance based on household income and distance to the university.
- Furthermore, these scholarships offer a training and personalized mentoring program, accompanied by a complementary grant tied to progress and access to an emotional well-being program.
- The call for applications is open until May 29, 2026 (2:00 PM CET).
