On July 1, Fundación ONCE launched the 9th edition of the "Oportunidad al Talento" scholarship call for students with disabilities for the 2022/2023 academic year.
These scholarships are intended to advance the academic progress of students with disabilities within higher education. They support excellence, transnational mobility, specialization in high-employability fields, and the compatibility of competitive sports with academic studies. Furthermore, the initiative seeks to promote academic and research careers, fostering inclusion within universities as teaching and research staff, as well as advancing professional careers across both the public and private sectors. This edition also includes scholarships for higher-level vocational training in high-demand fields.
Depending on the scholarship category, funding amounts range from €1,000 per person for Vocational Training Scholarships up to €28,000 per person allocated for research grants.
The application period opened on July 1, 2022, with varying closing dates depending on the specific scholarship track.
