On July 1, the ONCE Foundation launched the 9th call for applications for the “Opportunity for Talent” scholarships for students with disabilities for the 2022–2023 academic year.
These scholarships are designed to promote the academic progress of students with disabilities in higher education. They support academic excellence, transnational mobility, and the specialization of students with disabilities in fields with high employability, as well as the compatibility of competitive sports with their studies. Furthermore, the program aims to advance academic and research careers, thereby facilitating the inclusion of students with disabilities in universities as faculty and researchers and supporting career paths with professional prospects in both the public and private sectors. This year’s program also includes scholarships for advanced vocational training in high-demand fields.
Depending on the type of scholarship, the amounts range from 1,000 euros per person for vocational training scholarships to 28,000 euros per person for research scholarships.
The application period began on July 1, 2022, with different end dates depending on the category.
