Students with a disability exceeding 33 percent who are enrolled in universities or higher education institutions specializing in the arts in the Community of Madrid may apply for scholarships for the 2020–2021 academic year, the guidelines for which have already been published on the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid May 7,
Grants will be awarded based on the applicant's degree of disability until the total funding allocated to this call is fully disbursed. The total budget allocated for these scholarships is €300,000.
The amount of the benefit will thus be calculated by multiplying the degree of disability by the corresponding multiplier. Thus, for individuals with a disability ranging from 33 to 49 percent, inclusive, the multiplier will be 10 euros. Disability percentages between 55 and 70 percent, inclusive, will be multiplied by 12 euros. Finally, disability percentages above 70 percent will be multiplied by 15 euros.
