The types of grants that may be applied for under this order are as follows:
Mobility grants for:
- Travel for educational and employment integration purposes, whether by taxi or private hire vehicles (VTC).
- Purchase of motorized wheelchairs, limited to electric mobility scooters or similar technologies, for individuals with reduced mobility.
- Adaptation of motor vehicles to enable driving by individuals with disabilities.
- Removal of barriers in motor vehicles to facilitate the transportation of individuals with disabilities.
General requirements for applicants:
- Nationality.
- Be a Spanish national or a citizen of a European Union Member State.
- In the case of foreign nationals, have applied for or been granted refugee status, as well as the right to subsidiary protection, in accordance with the provisions of international treaties and immigration legislation.
- Be registered as a resident in any municipality within the Community of Madrid, for at least 1 continuous year immediately prior to the deadline of the grant application period.
- Have an officially recognized degree of disability of at least 33%.
- There must be a direct link between the requested aid and the officially recognized disability.
- Be 65 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2025.
- Demonstrate a situation of social difficulty or vulnerability in the application.
- Not be subject to any of the disqualifications stipulated in the grant regulations.
- Ensure personal or household gross income does not exceed the following thresholds for the year 2023
