The Humanism and Science Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in Spain in 1997 and registered with the Ministry of Education and Science. Recognized as being in the public interest, the foundation is not affiliated with any political, religious, or economic organization.
The Humanism and Science Foundation works to foster, promote, and disseminate the values that contribute to greater human progress and development and to the enhancement of personal well-being and happiness, as well as to the conduct and dissemination of scientific research and studies that help achieve these goals.
This year, the foundation will award a maximum of 25 annual scholarships—which may be renewed—for graduate studies in the sciences, at the master’s and doctoral levels, to gifted students from the Community of Madrid.
The application period for the scholarships will run from April 15 to June 1, and applicants will be notified of the award decisions by July 15. Scholarship payments will begin in September, coinciding with the start of the 2023–2024 school year.
