The Universia Foundation is announcing the 17th edition of its scholarships for higher education, with the goal of promoting educational equity and empowering people with disabilities to enhance their employability in an ever-changing job market.
100 scholarships of 1,000 euros are being offered to students with a disability certificate indicating a disability level of 33% or higher, in order to promote their access to and academic progress on an equal footing.
The registration period is open until April 18. Spanish students or foreign studentsresiding in Spainwho can demonstrate a disability of 33% or more, are enrolled for the 2021–2022 academic year in one of the educational programs at schools and universities described in the call for applications, and have not received a scholarship from the Fundación Universia during the 2021–2022 academic year are eligible to apply for this financial aid.
Through this project, the Universia Foundation is helping to achieveSustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: ensuring access to inclusive, equitable, and quality education and promoting learning opportunities to improve people’s quality of life.
