The session, taking place this Tuesday, February 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., will be live-streamed from the Regional Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid via the platform of the Madrid School of Health. The aim of the meeting is to present a value proposition addressing the needs of adolescents and young adults with epilepsy, as well as those of their caregivers.
Since 2015, the second Monday of February has marked International Epilepsy Day, an initiative aimed at educating communities worldwide about this neurological condition, which affects approximately 65 million people across the globe.
This year's session is introduced by Alberto Tomé González, Director General of Humanization and Patient Care. This session will feature the development of the Madrid School of Health's value proposition, the presentation of the study and its technical findings, along with the lived experience and reflections of a study participant. In the second part, concluding the event, a discussion among participants will be held, moderated by Paloma Casado Durández, Deputy Director General for the Humanization of Healthcare, Bioethics, and Patient Information and Care.
