The ONCE Foundation has launched a new call for grant applications to promote access to public sector employment for people with disabilities who, despite the existence of a specific quota reserved for them, are unable to gain entry into senior positions in public administration. The goal is to facilitate access by covering the costs associated with this process (prep courses or tutors, books and manuals, travel expenses, etc.), as these costs represent one of the main obstacles to preparing for civil service exams.
Features of the Assistance
The program has a maximum budget of 100,000 euros.
Each beneficiary will receive a maximum of 5,000 euros to prepare for civil service exams.
Requirements
Individuals who meet the following requirements may apply for the financial grants under this Programme:
- Hold an officially recognized disability with a degree equal to or greater than 33%.
- Hold Spanish nationality.
- Hold the university degree required for access to the corresponding civil service body and/or scale.
- Be enrolled, either in person or online, in a specialized competitive examination training academy, or receive coaching from a tutor for Group "A" (A1 or A2) public examinations in any Spanish Public Administration.
- Not be in receipt of other grants or subsidies for the same purpose, whether from public or private entities.
- Not be engaged in any gainful employment or receiving a pension or benefit listed in the Public Social Benefits Registry with an annual amount of €12,000 or more at the time of application.
Submission of Applications
Applicants for one of these scholarships must submit their application exclusively online by filling out the web form provided for this purpose on the ONCE Foundation Scholarship Portal (https://becas.fundaciononce.es/).
Call for Applications
From October 20, 2022, until the 100,000 euros allocated in the ONCE Foundation’s 2022 budget have been reached.
