Fundación ONCE has launched a new call for grants to promote access to public employment for people with disabilities who, despite having a specific reserved quota, face barriers in entering the senior civil service. The aim is to facilitate access by covering the expenses incurred during this process (academies or private tutors, books and manuals, travel, etc.), as financial cost represents one of the primary obstacles to preparing for public service examinations.
Grant characteristics
The program is allocated a maximum budget of €100,000.
Each beneficiary will receive up to €5,000 to prepare for public service examinations.
Requirements
Individuals who meet the following requirements may apply for the financial grants under this Programme:
- Hold an officially recognized disability with a degree equal to or greater than 33%.
- Hold Spanish nationality.
- Hold the university degree required for access to the corresponding civil service body and/or scale.
- Be enrolled, either in person or online, in a specialized competitive examination training academy, or receive coaching from a tutor for Group "A" (A1 or A2) public examinations in any Spanish Public Administration.
- Not be in receipt of other grants or subsidies for the same purpose, whether from public or private entities.
- Not engaging in any employment activity or receiving a pension or benefit registered in the Public Social Benefits Register with an annual amount equal to or greater than €12,000 at the time of application.
Submission of Applications
Applicants for these grants must submit their application, exclusively online, by completing the web form provided for this purpose on the Fundación ONCE Scholarship Portal (https://becas.fundaciononce.es/).
Call for Applications
From October 20, 2022 until the €100,000 allocated in Fundación ONCE's own budget for 2022 is reached.
