Fundación Prevent has opened a new call for the course NIO, an online training program in the fundamentals of cybersecurity and information security aimed at persons with disabilities. The objective of this initiative is to facilitate access to the technology sector for this community, contributing to enhancing their professional profile and employment opportunities.
The course will be taught by TecnoCampus, a center affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University, and is fully funded by a scholarship, making it free of charge for students. The training combines theory and practice over 250 hours and will be delivered 100% online, featuring live sessions via Zoom videoconference.
Course details:
- Dates: September 19 to December 19, 2025
- Duration: 250 theoretical-practical hours
- Format: 100% online, with live classes
- Available schedules: morning or afternoon
- Cost: scholarship-funded training, at no cost to participants
- Delivered by: TecnoCampus (Pompeu Fabra University)
Entry requirements:
- Hold an official disability certificate
- Possess intermediate IT skills: proficient use of email, Office suite, video calling platforms, web browsing, and general ICT competencies
- Prior training in the technological field will be valued
- Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and active participation throughout the course
