The Universia Foundation is launching the 16th edition of its Universia Foundation Scholarship Program for students with disabilities, offering 90 scholarships for the 2020–2021 academic year. The Universia Foundation provides grants of 1,000 euros to students with a certified disability rating of 33% or higher. In total, 90,000 euros will be allocated to boost their employability and improve their access to and academic progress while ensuring equal opportunities.
The application period is open until June 14 on the Fundación Universia website. Spanish students or foreign students residing in Spain who have a disability certificate and are enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs; university-specific degree programs; vocational training; language courses; culture- and sports-related training programs; or civil service exams are eligible to apply. The scholarship decisions will be announced on July 27, 2021.
