The Universia Foundation has launched a job training initiative consisting of a series of live videos designed to support people with disabilities in entering the workforce and advancing their careers. In these videos, Eduardo, a recruitment consultant specializing in candidates with disabilities, will help participants maximize their chances of finding the ideal internship or their desired job.
In this series of episodes, we’ll discuss key factors that influence how disability is viewed in different hiring processes; the rights and obligations of people with disabilities; tips and advice to help your applications stand out from the rest; the secrets behind a strong resume; and the keys to excelling in an interview as a person with a disability.
The first open class took place on July 13 and was titled “How to Tackle a Blank Resume,” with a special focus on the chat feature to answer any questions that might come up in real time.
