The goal of this conference, which will take place from November 24 to 26, is to create a space for debate and build a networking community with the aim of establishing a specialized field of disability law. The conference will also serve as a forum for presenting and discussing the most relevant legal research related to disability law.
The event is primarily aimed at public officials of the General State Administration, representatives of the various legislative chambers, members of the judiciary, and professionals in the legal and legal practice sectors. University faculty and students in the social and legal sciences, as well as staff from disability advocacy organizations, are also invited to participate.
The event features contributions from various speakers, including the president of the General Council of the Spanish Bar Association, Victoria Ortega Benito, and the vice president of the United Nations CEDAW Committee, Ana Peláez Narváez. In addition, there will be professors and faculty members from various Spanish universities, Members of the European Parliament, attorneys, and legal advisors. These experts will lead both lectures and panel discussions to address the various topics of the conference.
