Fundación ONCE is organizing the second edition of the National Congress on Entrepreneurship and Disability in collaboration with the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI) and the Entrepreneurship and Disability Association (ASEMDIS), which will take place on November 14 and 15, 2024, in Bilbao, specifically at the B Accelerator Tower, where Bizkaia Seed Capital provides the venue for this event.
At the congress, focusing on entrepreneurship and disability, the aim is to offer content centered on impact, innovation, and connection, as well as to structure panels that highlight the entrepreneurial talent of persons with disabilities.
We would like to invite you to attend this congress, where universities and academia can also play a significant role, particularly through the submission of papers (studies, academic research, and best practices related to entrepreneurship, whether involving persons with disabilities or holding potential for replication within this community). It presents a valuable opportunity to showcase the initiatives being developed within the academic community in these areas.
On the congress website, under the Participate section, the following have also been published:
- the guidelines for the Pitch – Desafío Emprende competition, for entrepreneurs wishing to present their projects (10 finalists will present their initiatives before a jury and audience at the congress, following prior communication training, with the winner receiving an award), and
- the guidelines for the Por Talento Emprende Awards (featuring the following categories: Innovation, Social Impact, Sustainability, and the main category), offering cash prizes ranging from €2,000 to €5,000, along with a mentoring program led by experts and promotional support for their entrepreneurial initiatives across various media outlets, including Impact Week.
