Fundación ONCE has launched the 2nd call for grants to prepare for Group A public sector competitive examinations across various administrations. The objective of these grants, which amount to a maximum of €5,000 per year per student, is to foster access to public employment for university students and graduates with disabilities. There is an underrepresentation of persons with disabilities in these public administration positions, and this initiative aligns with the civil service strategy to promote diversity within public bodies as well as addressing identified demand. Therefore, Fundación ONCE will incentivize and financially support this preparatory training, which can facilitate university graduates' access to highly qualified positions in public administration.
Grant Characteristics
The maximum budget allocated by Fundación ONCE for the financial endowment of the 2nd Edition of the Grant Programme to Promote Access to Public Employment for Persons with Disabilities amounts to €200,000.
Each beneficiary will receive financial aid for a maximum amount of €5,000 per year.
Requirements
Individuals who meet the following requirements may apply for the financial grants under this Programme:
- Hold an officially recognized disability with a degree equal to or greater than 33%.
- Hold Spanish nationality.
- Hold the university degree required for access to the corresponding civil service body and/or scale.
- Be enrolled, either in person or online, in a specialized competitive examination training academy, or receive coaching from a tutor for Group "A" (A1 or A2) public examinations in any Spanish Public Administration.
- Not be in receipt of other grants or subsidies for the same purpose, whether from public or private entities.
- Not be engaged in any employment activity. "No employment activity" means that the applicant is not working as a self-employed individual or an employee, regardless of the income or remuneration received for such work.
- Not be receiving a pension or benefit registered in the Public Social Benefits Registry with an annual gross amount equal to or exceeding €15,000 at the time of application.
Submission of Applications
Applications must be submitted exclusively online by completing the web form provided for this purpose on the Fundación ONCE Scholarship Portal (https://becas.fundaciononce.es/Paginas/BecasOposiciones.aspx). Each individual may only submit one application during this edition of the Programme.
