Burgundy ribbon bow for multiple myeloma, awareness and support for adults with disabilities, headaches and migraines, and sickle cell anemia
Every year in Europe, thousands of patients are diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM). Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer in which cancer cells accumulate in the bone marrow and spread to healthy blood cells, forming tumors in areas of solid bone. Patients suffering from this disease must live with all its consequences until a definitive cure is found. Therefore, a multidisciplinary approach is necessary to find solutions that improve their quality of life.
With this goal in mind, Sanofi is launching the call for applications for the third edition of the“Más tiempo y mejor” scholarship, an initiative that seeks innovative projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people living with multiple myeloma.
The grant is intended for innovative, multidisciplinary projects that help, in their day-to-day operations, those suffering from the disease and their families, seeking initiatives—whether in the area of technological development or hospital implementation—aimed at cancer patients. The winner will receive a grant of €5,000 for the development and implementation of their project.
Who is eligible to apply?
Foundations, patient associations, medical and scientific societies, or any adult resident in Spain, provided they apply in collaboration with an organization, foundation, or association and have some connection to patients with MM.
Submission Deadline
The submission period will remain open until February 17, 2023.
