Dounia Kaced Kaced. The online event will take place on May 4, 18, and 25, coinciding respectively with Star Wars Day, International Museum Day, and Geek Pride Day. It is organized by the DAI Chair: Persons with Disabilities, Accessibility, and Inclusion and La Ciudad Accesible in collaboration with the Spanish Garrison Legion 501, the Camilo Prado Foundation, and the research groups Diversia and HASTHGAR.
The conference will focus on inclusion and culture and, as its name suggests, is inspired by the Star Wars saga. It will be coordinated by Ricardo Moreno Rodriguez, Coordinator of the Degree in Spanish Sign Language and the Deaf Community at the FCJS (URJC), and will feature the participation of the President of the Sectorial del Cómic, Alejandro Casasola.
#JuntosSomosMas will feature compelling presentations on inclusion, such as "Spanish Sign Language Interpretation in the Star Wars Saga," "Accessibility in the Management of Mediterranean Archaeological Sites," and "Persons with Disabilities and Advocacy in Comic Books."
Registration is now open and closes on May 4, one hour before the activity begins. Attendance is free of charge, and a sign language interpreter will be provided. Interested individuals can also register via the following link.
