The Olivenza Report, prepared by the State Observatory on Disability, periodically analyzes the situation of the population with disabilities in Spain, and specifically the state of social inclusion of the population with disabilities in the region of Extremadura. It is drawn up primarily from documentary, legislative, and statistical information sources.
This edition addresses aspects related to the sociodemographic analysis of persons with disabilities in Spain; the OED indicators on the social inclusion of persons with disabilities in Spain; the generation of knowledge regarding the population with disabilities in Spain; and the follow-up to the Concluding Observations of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the combined second and third periodic reports of Spain, 2019. Furthermore, reflecting the OED's connection with Extremadura, supported by the Regional Government (Junta) and the University of Extremadura, the Olivenza Report provides, as in previous editions, an analysis of the situation of disability in Extremadura.
