Alejandra Mercedes Hernández Graham. Fundaz Integra's Audiovisual Accessibility course is aimed at unemployed individuals with a recognized physical disability of 33% or greater who pass a spelling and typing speed (keystrokes per minute) test. It will begin this coming February, and its main objective is to provide audiovisual accessibility and specialized training in response to requests from companies seeking qualified professionals in this field.
The training, which will be delivered online, is free of charge and students may join according to their needs. The course is divided into three specializations, from which students may choose one: "Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Recorded Programs" (60 hours), "Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Live Programs", and the third, with a shorter duration of 40 hours, is dedicated to training in Audio Description Scriptwriting.
