The State Reference Center for Personal Autonomy and Assistive Technologies (Ceapat) of Imserso is organizing the second edition of the “Accessibility as a Right” seminars, which will be held from September 23 to December 14, 2022, at our headquarters. These events are part of Imserso’s Specialized Training Plan.
The goal of these seminars is to provide a forum for networking, information, and discussion on current issues related to the promotion of personal autonomy, universal accessibility, and assistive technologies and products. In addition, this year’s program includes the topic of adapted sports and physical activity.
Over the course of six separate sessions, public entities, private entities, and civil society organizations will discuss the following topics:
- Friday, September 23. Sports and Adapted Physical Activity
- Wednesday, October 5. Supported Housing Models and Deinstitutionalization.
- Wednesday, October 19. Accessibility with a gender perspective.
- Wednesday, November 16. Cognitive accessibility: the right to understand and participate.
- Wednesday, November 30. Technology for personal autonomy.
- Wednesday, December 14. Accessible and Inclusive Mobility.
