Fundación ONCE has launched this initiative to develop university training programs for the employment of young people with intellectual disabilities registered in the National Youth Guarantee System.
For its implementation, the Foundation has the financial support of the European Social Fund, through the Youth Employment Operational Programme, and it is aimed at all Spanish universities, including URJC, and affiliated centers. Following the four previous calls, more than 30 universities across Spain have been able to carry out these programs, enabling young people with disabilities to experience university life.
In this call, the designated grant funding has been increased to two million euros. In this way, each university will be able to receive 60,000 euros per academic year. The aim is to promote and develop, during the 2021-2022 academic year, training programs for university inclusion and the employment of young people with intellectual disabilities.
The deadline for submitting new projects will be open until June 10, 2021. Interested universities can obtain the documents detailing the requirements and terms of the call at the following link.
