The program consists of an academic training scholarship for young entrepreneurs with disabilities. It is an initiative of the Prevent Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce.
The scholarship offers the opportunity to learn how to start a business or accelerate a recently launched entrepreneurial initiative. The course consists of 120 hours of in-person training in Madrid from October through May. It will take place at the ASADE Business School—ranked as the third-best business school in Europe—where participants will be assigned a mentor to guide them throughout the process, receive cross-disciplinary training through workshops and lectures, and have access to networking opportunities. In addition, the creators of the highest-rated projects will receive up to 5,000 euros in startup funding and will have the opportunity to continue through the Alumni and #Powernauts programs, which are also free of charge.
Prospective scholarship recipients must hold a college degree or vocational training certificate, have a disability rating of at least 33%, and propose a business project idea, in addition to being entrepreneurs with high growth potential.
