The "Oportunidad al Talento" scholarships are part of the initiative that the Fundación ONCE offers to university students with disabilities. Their mission is to support university education, specialization, and the academic and research careers of individuals with special needs, thereby fostering their integration into technical and highly qualified jobs. The Foundation's goal is to achieve equal opportunities through inclusive education.
The program offers grants for master's and postgraduate studies, as well as transnational mobility. In this way, the recipients of these grants can pursue their degrees at foreign universities, combine studies and sports, or undertake doctoral studies and research. To apply, a legally recognized disability of at least 33% is required, and candidates must also be vocational training students (intermediate or higher degree), university students, or researchers.
When applying, it is mandatory to provide an ID document, the Official Disability Certificate, the latest family income tax return, a motivation letter explaining the reasons for applying for the grant, and an updated curriculum vitae containing personal and professional details.
Along with this documentation, applicants must submit their academic transcript, proof of university enrollment or pre-registration, and language proficiency accreditation (the latter if transnational mobility is requested). For the Studies and Sport category, proof of membership in a sports federation must be provided. For the Doctoral category, applicants must attach their master's degree, the thesis proposal, and proof of enrollment at the university where the research project will be conducted.

The application deadlines will close on September 30, except for the Doctorate and Research track, which ends on October 11.
