UNIDIS, the Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities at UNED, has opened registration for the second micro-credential on leadership for persons with disabilities, focusing on entrepreneurship. The course, titled “Leadership and Strategies for Entrepreneurship among Persons with Disabilities”, is directed by Ana Lisbona, Professor of Psychology at UNED and Vice-Rector for Students and Inclusion. It is part of a three-micro-credential programme under the agreement between UNED, the ONCE Foundation, and CERMI, aimed at enhancing employability by fostering entrepreneurial initiative.
The micro-credential carries 5 ECTS credits, is stackable, and is aimed at persons with disabilities, as well as family members and employers interested in identifying and developing talent. Online registration is open until January 24, and the course commences on January 26.
Thanks to subsidies from Next Generation Funds and the ONCE Foundation, the cost is reduced from 200 to 50 euros, and it is free of charge for individuals with a certified disability of over 33%.
