The Spanish Confederation of Persons with Physical and Organic Disabilities (COCEMFE), in collaboration with its Associative Movement, announces the first edition of the 'Inclusive Society Awards' with the aim of promoting public recognition of benchmark practices, behaviors, and initiatives regarding inclusion that foster equal participation for persons with physical and organic disabilities.
The award categories are as follows:
- Educational and professional development
- Social innovation and research
- Women and equality
- Sociosanitary coordination
- Accessibility and independent living
Eligibility requirements:
- Both natural and legal persons over 18 years of age residing in Spain who have carried out projects, actions, or initiatives aimed at achieving a more inclusive society, with special attention to identifying and giving visibility to the most innovative initiatives.
- Persons under 18 years of age may submit their applications by attaching authorization from their legal representative.
- Entities belonging to COCEMFE, being part of the jury that will select the finalist proposals, are not eligible to apply for these awards.
- Only one submission is permitted per applicant.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 28, 2023, at 2:30 p.m.
