Rey Juan Carlos University offers financial aid to a total of 180 students who are facing financial hardship and/or family or personal vulnerability. The budget for this aid totals 80,000 euros. The aid will consist of coverage for up to 10 50-minute sessions of psychological therapy at the URJC Clinical Foundation.

To be eligible for this financial aid, students must meet the general, financial, or family or personal vulnerability requirements listed in the call for applications, as well as be enrolled in an official degree program for the current 2022–2023 academic year.
All applicants must complete the application form and submit the required documentation through the University’s Psychological Support Platform (www.urjc.es), in the scholarships and financial aidsection, within 10 business days, beginning on September 5, 2022, and ending on September 16, 2022, both days included. After the application period closes, experts from the clinic will conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for psychological treatment.
An initiative that aims to address the mental health issues that are causing a large number of students to drop out of school, thereby negatively affecting their academic performance.
This call for proposals highlights the importance of mental health in our society; promoting and contributing to the health and emotional well-being of students is one of URJC’s key commitments and priorities.
