Universidad Rey Juan Carlos aspires to become an international benchmark as a "2030 University," leveraging the design of the Strategic Plan to drive and align the efforts of the university community around the 17 SDGs.
We want our students to understand and address the challenges arising from the 2030 Agenda, our administrative and service staff (PAS) to mobilize to contribute to the SDGs, and our teaching and research staff (PDI) to be inspired to integrate the SDGs into their teaching, as well as to conduct research and propose innovative solutions that help achieve this shared goal. We aim to build a community united in the fight against poverty and inequality, to develop new technologies and methods to improve health and access to clean water, to enhance educational quality, to increase energy efficiency and environmental protection, and to foster a more just and peaceful society.
Our university embraces this challenge and commits to advancing the SDGs through the "URJC-2030" strategic project, which seeks to align the efforts of our entire university community to maximize our impact on the SDGs and establish our institution as an academic benchmark in this field.
